Invisalign®

Aligned teeth – discreet, precise and modern, with an individual treatment plan.

Invisalign® is a modern orthodontic system with transparent, removable aligners that gradually and controllably straighten teeth. The aligners are custom-made and changed according to a plan, making treatment predictable with clear checkpoints.

At Dentique, we approach each case individually. During examination, we assess the condition of teeth, bite, and aesthetics, and together with you determine the goal – whether it’s teeth alignment, bite function improvement, or preparation for aesthetic procedures.

The advantage of the Invisalign® system lies in precisely planned movements. Digital planning allows each step to be adapted to the forces and directions each tooth needs. In many cases, results are comparable to traditional orthodontic treatment.

What patients most appreciate about Invisalign®

  • Aesthetics and comfort: aligners are almost invisible and generally more comfortable for daily life than fixed braces.
  • Removability and easier hygiene: remove aligners when eating and brushing, making teeth cleaning generally easier.
  • Digitally planned treatment: movements are pre-planned; you can often see a simulation of results before starting.
  • Wide applicability: suitable for a large part of orthodontic irregularities – final decision always made after professional assessment.

Invisalign® as part of comprehensive care

Treatment can be standalone, but it’s often sensible to address dental and gum health before starting (e.g., cavity treatment, professional cleaning, wisdom tooth removal if needed). After alignment, you can further perfect your smile with aesthetic or prosthetic solutions (e.g., bonding, veneers, prosthetics or implant care). The advantage of treatment under one roof is a coordinated plan and unified control over the entire process.

Who is Invisalign® suitable for

Invisalign® is suitable for many people who want to discreetly align their teeth. Success depends on quality planning, precise execution, and consistent wearing of aligners according to instructions.

Treatment cost

The cost of Invisalign® treatment depends on complexity and goals. You will receive the most accurate answer at the examination and consultation when we prepare an individual plan and price estimate. If you already have a quote from another clinic, you can bring it – we’re happy to professionally compare it.

The path to Invisalign®

  1. Examination and consultation: we examine teeth and bite, listen to your wishes, and suggest the most appropriate approach.
  2. Digital scan and photos: with an intraoral scanner we capture a 3D image of teeth, add photos (and X-rays if needed) and prepare a plan. If needed, we also show a simulation of results.
  3. Treatment start: when aligners are ready, we place any attachments and you receive the first aligner. Followed by aligner changes according to instructions and regular check-ups.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does Invisalign® treatment take?

Duration depends on case complexity and the treatment plan. You will receive a timeframe at the examination after digital scanning and planning.

Does Invisalign® hurt?

When changing aligners, you may feel pressure for a few days. This is normal and means the aligners are working.

How many hours a day do I need to wear aligners?

For best results, aligners should be worn most of the day and night. You will receive detailed instructions at the start of treatment.

Can I eat and drink with aligners?

Remove aligners when eating. You can drink water with aligners; for other beverages, we recommend removing them.

What are attachments?

These are small composite additions on teeth that help achieve precise movements. They are usually discreet and removed after treatment.

How do I clean aligners?

Rinse aligners with lukewarm water and gently clean with a soft brush. Avoid hot water as it can deform the material.

How often are check-ups?

Check-ups are usually scheduled at intervals depending on the plan and treatment progress. We check progress and adjust instructions as needed.

What happens after treatment ends?

After alignment, retention is key. This usually means retention aligners or a retention wire – chosen based on the case.

What if I lose or damage an aligner?

Contact the clinic. Together we determine the best next step (e.g., moving to previous or next aligner, or ordering a replacement).

Is Invisalign® suitable for everyone?

For many people yes, but in some cases another orthodontic or aesthetic solution may be more appropriate. That is why examination is the first and most important step.
